Frequently Asked Questions
•How do I properly level my washing machine?
Use a bubble level placed on top of the washing machine. Adjust the front legs until the bubble is centered. Then, rock the machine diagonally to see if it teeters. If so, adjust the rear self-adjusting legs by lifting the machine slightly at each corner. Ensure all legs are making solid contact with the floor.
•How do I access and clean the drain pump filter?
The drain pump filter is typically located at the front bottom of the washer, behind a small access panel. Disconnect the power before accessing. Place a towel to catch any water. Unscrew the filter cap and remove any debris. Rinse the filter and replace it securely.
•What are the signs of worn suspension rods, and how are they replaced?
Signs of worn suspension rods include excessive vibration, banging noises during the spin cycle, and the washer leaning to one side. They are replaced by removing the top panel of the washer (usually held by screws at the rear). Disconnect any wires connected to the top panel. The suspension rods are attached to the cabinet and the wash basket. Detach the old rods and install the new ones in the reverse order.
