Frequently Asked Questions
•How do I test the pressure switch?
Disconnect the power to the washer. Locate the pressure switch (usually near the bottom of the tub). Disconnect the air hose from the pressure switch and gently blow into it. Use a multimeter to test the continuity of the switch terminals. The reading should change when you blow into the hose, indicating the switch is working.
•What voltage should I expect at the water inlet valve?
With the washer plugged in and attempting to fill, you should measure approximately 120V AC at the water inlet valve terminals using a multimeter. If you don't see this voltage, the problem may be with the wiring or the MCU.
•Where is the water inlet valve located?
The water inlet valve is typically located at the back of the washer, where the water inlet hoses connect. It's usually a plastic or metal block with two solenoids (one for hot water and one for cold water).
