Frequently Asked Questions
•How do I test the water inlet valve?
Use a multimeter to test for continuity when the valve should be open. Disconnect power first. Should read approximately 1k ohms. If open or shorted, replace the valve.
•What is the correct water pressure for a dishwasher?
The ideal water pressure is between 20 and 120 PSI. If the pressure is too low, the dishwasher may not fill properly. Too high, and you could damage the valve.
•How do I descale the dishwasher?
Pour 1 cup of white vinegar into the bottom of the dishwasher and run a normal cycle without detergent. This will help remove mineral deposits. Repeat monthly.
